Hi there! I'm Jackie and I own The Last Snip Family Salon.
I knew when I was young that I wanted to do hair and have my own a salon. I had no idea then what it would look like or how it would be or when it would even happen. I have been doing hair for 10+ years now, which is wild to think!
I began my journey two weeks after I graduated high school. I completed cosmetology school; then took a break from hair when I had my daughter. Then I met my husband, he saw my dream and encouraged me. He has always been the driving force and support system for me in making this dream a reality.
Over time my passions have shifted and settled into what they are today. I like to work weddings and help brides make all of their hair dreams come true. I dabble in hair color and LOVE vivid color palettes.
But haircuts are by far my favorite! They are so versatile and ever changing. They help bring out inner beauty and confidence.
From long layers, precision haircuts, clipper cuts, total transformations, and the all-important first haircut!
My passion is working with children. All ages and all sensory needs. Children are our future. They are genuine and pure of heart. I am privileged to get to help them through a process that is difficult for plenty of our babies.
A bad haircut can ruin self-esteem and have a lasting effect. Over time my littlest clients have come to trust me. They know what to expect from me, A smile, a little chit-chat, some laughs, awesome hair, and lollipop at the end! And they NEVER let me forget!
I get to learn about each individual in my chair and watch them grow into amazing kids and young adults.
So, for me, it is more than just hair.
